Atlanta's Quinton Wesley announced Tuesday at his high school he will sign with Mississippi State on Feb. 2, the first day of the national signing period.

The Crim High School defensive end chose the Bulldogs over Alabama and Kentucky.

Tuesday evening, however, his mother, Bobby Whipple, said she isn't convinced her son has made a final decision.

"He did say that," Whipple said. "But I think Quinton's still kind of tied up between Alabama and Mississippi State. I can't really say."

The 6-foot-5, 226-pound player visited Alabama last weekend.
